adequate stay with some drawbacks

friendly staff clean room comfortable room damp smell worn sofa loose wallpaper
the breakfast was nice i found the room super clean and cozy the staff were friendly and helpful i also appreciated the location of the hotel near the tram stop
the hotel was old upon arrival there was a noticeable damp smell in the hallway the sofa in the room had several stains i think from wear and tear the wallpaper was loose

a mixed experience

dirty cups uncleaned carpet
the room was spacious. it provided plenty of space for my family.
The room needed some serious attention. the carpet had not been properly vacuumed. I found crumbs and debris. the cups near the kettle were dirty with old tea stains. the tea tray also had crusted marks.

the location was good it was right on the seafront.
the room seemed okay at first glance however i soon noticed the carpet was not clean there was debris on the floor. the cups near the kettle looked dirty with stains inside i had to clean them myself. one of my pillows had a noticeable smudge mark i found these issues quite off-putting.

great location friendly host nice decoration beautiful view
the location was great for the pleasure beach and south pier. the host was very friendly and helpful . the rooms have nice decoration and felt very clean. i had a beautiful sea view from my front room.
the halls and stairway need a fresh coat of paint and the room carpet had a couple of stains.

great location homely feel accommodating staff
the location was great! the family room sea view was huge. it felt lovely and homely. pete, the host, was very cute when we arrived. he. the breakfast was lovely, and the ladies working were very accommodating. i would definitely stay again!

the location was fantastic with a tram stop right outside. pleasure beach is just steps away. many restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance, therefore exploring the area was easy. the convenience cannot be overstated!

pete made sure we were fine for parking even before we arrived. he interacted with all families at his hotel, building a friendly atmosphere! the staff provided great service, offering assistance with luggage and local recommendations.
